Awesome, these adverts are always pretty cool. Too bad I don't have any video design skill, maybe somebody will capitalize on this and market video production haha.

Few questions.

1) Last yeat there was a possiblity for 30 seconds video. This year will be only 15 seconds movies?

2) I've found that another ad had the same music as my video. But found it only on streaming. How this will be solved this year? I wasn't happy.

3) Why 1920*1080? Not all people can make video on this resolution. For example I have only 1600*900 and 1280*720 was great for me to add eve video. So I can't make video for tournament?

Sad

1. 30 seconds last year was only on special invitation, the standard length was the same 15 seconds.
2. We have no plans to tackle this sorry, perhaps pick something more obscure?
3. We are broadcasting at that resolution so that is what people should aim for to deliver the best quality, however as I posted above we will accept 1280x720 as well.

Are there plans to tone down or filter the annoying ads, such as the ones with sudden, extremely loud audio (see op references 1 and 3)? I remember many a player expressing their discontent in the stream chat because of those last year.

I know my english is awful but
1) Yeah. This was on special invitation. So this year you will make same invitations?
2) Last year I tried to make original music and I was sure that everything would be ok. May be you can check alll video and if some1 made video with same music. Why not if who sent video later must replace music?
3) Understand :) I didn't translated your 1st message correct

1. No plans to do so, we're going to stick to 15 seconds.
2. I understand your point but this could get unfair to people quickly so I don't think we can do anything easily.
3. No problem :).

Does the video need to be in English?

For example lets say i want to make a trailer/advert for a german pvp help channel. The focus is clearly German speaking Pilots who are interested in pvp, so for me it would make sense to the text and voiceover on germen. But is that allowed?

I understand your point but the video should be in English so the majority of the viewers can understand it.

English voiceover German subtitles. Problem solved.

No can do! My spoken English has a _very_ thick German accent :D "Join ze Pe Fau Pe Hilfä Chät" Maybe i can use it as an advantage somehow. Overact it and turn it into a joke.

The problem is not the viewers, they probably can understand English or otherwise they would not watch the tournament. But the production would be much more cost effective.

No biggie.

Im sorry but ads in english makes no sense. Many corporations are either national or based around certain timezones. So why those corps would have to create ads in english just for other non-interested people to understand it? You are alienating lot of corporations and alliances with this rule.

I would say advertising to non English speaking players on a English stream wouldn't make much sense. So if they are watching I'm going to make an assumption and say they would be able to understand it.

In all seriousness I do understand your position and if we could support geo-location specific advertising then we'd be on board, but for now we want the majority of the viewers able to understand the content.

Can we submit multiple ads to be rotated? (Not to increase the number of showings, but say we got 4 slots during the AT, one ad would be shown twice and the other twice, give or take).

We'd like to do a series but it's only funny in aggregate.

Yes just as you described. A corp/alliance/service can only have one ad slot, you can submit more then one video and the videos will be cycled for your slot.

Can i get multiple slots of i make different videos for different corps/services that have nothing to do with each other? Beside me as the video creator.

Or do i have to trick you by asking someone else to send it in? :D

As a creator you can submit several videos, they just have to be for different corps/services to get a full ad slot.
