I stopped watching at EA.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

What in the Wide Wide World of Ultima did I just watch?

EA, you have stolen and destroyed my childhood

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

Uh...

Is there literally anything left that does NOT have "EA" stamped on it? Cry

Seriously, if anyone wants to try the grandfather of all RPGs try this one.
Its Ultima V on the Dungeon Siege engine.

And if you are done with that one, there is apparently an Ultima VI remake available here.
No need to fall back on some app shi!

Richard Garriot de Cayeux (yes, that's actually his name now) is working on something that's a 'spiritual successor' to the Ultima series.

Sadly, it's very difficult to continue the Ultima series as they are, because while EA owns the 'Ultima' franchise itself, Mr. Garriott owns the trademarks for several of the characters; neither he nor EA can produce a new Ultima product without getting permission from the other party.

I, too, was a huge Ultima fan back in the day. I'm looking forward to Lord British's new project, though.

Interesting.
So they made a trailer very reminiscent of Game of Thrones to sell some 1990's quality hack and slay as the new big thing?
Now the question is, will the customers be stupid enough to buy this crap?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I stopped watching at "Ipad" ._.

"Amarr pray for power, Caldari pray for profit, Gallente pray for peace, and minmatar pray their ships dont fall apart. In rust we trust!"

"I tried salvaging a Minmatar ship for ten minutes before he started shooting at me."
