Posting on my anonymous ALT here.

Here's the situation, I got kill rights on someone and I've pretty much got their modus operandi down.

This person likes to run level 4's in a Tengu. ( so many people doing this I don't think im giving myself away)

I'm pseudo noob PvP, have killed a few. I can fly pretty much all T1, with full T2 fits. Can Use T2 lazer, HM's,
strong drone skills, so I'm kind of puzzled how about I should go about ganking this person. Also I'm pretty
sure this person has no idea I've been following them around.

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to use a scanner frig then swap out with something else, because the expanded probe
launcher takes so much cpu, it kind of gimps my fittings. I don't think I can get em at the station or a gate, I think
the only chance I got is sneak up on em while running a mission.

I guess my real question what would be the ship to use on this? I'm thinking the Tengu is gonna be pretty well
tanked. What would you PvP folks do/use in this situation? (yeah I know don't post in the forums, so they find out lol)

The standard answer to any problem in EVE is: blob it Big smile

If this is not an option, then you need to bring something with Point (to avoid him warping away), Web (he will probably be AB fitted, so make him not running away!), one or better two Neutralizer (he will be probably running an Active Tank), good DPS (you want to kill him at the end) and a good tank with resists against Kinetic (since he will probably dish out good DPS).

Taking all of this into account you will probably need a T3 on your own... maybe go for the Amarr one with proper neutralizer subsystem.

if what you want is to see his tengu down :
- you can do it yourself but you don't know how and it may be too hard for u
- you can share the killright to anyone else ... including me of coure :)

For this art attack you will need:

One typhoon
Some torpedo launchers
Some energy neutralisers

Standard fare really, observe the NPCs he's fighting and pack the torps for the damage types he wont be tanked against (wait until he's fighting something that doesn't use EM for best results)

Use a friend (or an alt if you have no friends) to get in and point him, then land on his face, web him, neut out his shield boosters and pummel his moist little shield hole with your love torpedoes.

Don't forget to insolently congratulate him in local on his magnificent performance after you're done looting his wreck :)
