Capital Ships able to transport subcapital ships in ship maintenance bay... with CAPSULEERS in it?!

I haven't seen people or I'm too lazy to look in the forum but did someone already propose this one?

This is called a Titan jump portal generator or to a less extent black ops can do it to anything with a covops cloak.

There is a reason why its reserved only to titans as its an exceptionally powerful mechanic.

This was originally how titan and moms were supposed to work however the problem was the servers reacted poorly to players owning other players. Everything inside your ship belongs to you according to the server. The final results of this were data base corruption and lots of problems.

Not to say it could not be done but it is a large and nasty job for the code monkeys. Personally I would rather CCP invested their code monkey time elsewhere.

Things change you adapt or you whine.

And when the Cap pilot logs out, gets DC'd, etc, then what? Does the player inside that Cap ship have to wait until they log back in to be able to play the game? Does CCP have to come up with some clunky mechanic that auto ejects the sub-cap ship(s) from the Maint Bay on log off? How then does CCP prevent players from purposely logging off (pretending to DC) in hostile space to purposely eject the sub-cap ship(s) into said space to get destroyed? Would the Cap ship player be able to hold the sub-cap ship(s) hostage? There's a lot of balance issues to consider.

Why not just give the pilots inside a limited version of the station hangar and allow them the ability to undock at will, with docking requiring permission of the Titan Pilot?

Even if the titan pilot is disconnected and the ship warps off to where-space the pilots inside could then choose to either undock themselves or stay in and wait?

I mean I don't see any immediate need for such a feature but it would at least give Titans something kinda cool beyond being giant space highway constructors.
