Hey guys,

I'm not really experienced with null - but my corp just moved out here and I find it hard to keep up with any activities. Most of my time is spent mining ice for PoS fuel, which is okay because I'm here to support my dudes and help with keeping sov. The markets are nonexistent out here, and materials are over eight jumps away. I have a fully fit Retriever and an SB.

What kind of things can I do to make money?
- Do I have to run back to highest to get a ship / mods? Is that a common tactic?
- Do I risk the run to other null stations to pick up a ship and bring it back home?

I'm an experienced EVE player, but I haven't had much null experience. Any advice and non insulting feedback is much appreciated.

its real simple !! just go get some plush and trade it for isk on the market .. or if you have a high refinery skill boni then covert it to trit and what not and then sell that !!

it soo easy !! at leasts thats what they told me when i went to null.

and oh yeah .. those ships components .. you just manufacture your own !!! who needs jita junk ??

sometimes some ones wants something though. Something from jita, like modal light netron blasters. well what do ya know !! usually there some sooper leet dude with a carrier thingy and he makes regular jumps to jita and the best thing is he takes requests. and even better they some time would like support when making the jump in, so you can be there when he get back. kinda like waiting for the ups man (if you get off on that kinda thing)

and if all else fails equip one of those scan probe launcher doohickeys get some probes and clicky clicky clicky you will find a lot of stuff to sell that way .

so to iterate .

get plush and sell it ( or get junk and sell it )

build your own stuff

find that guy and give him a shopping list and some iskies and maybe some support

find stuff with that scanner thingamajangy.


side notes .

sometimes mining or aiding in mining ops well net you materials or isk needed to get some things .

sometimes the corp will let you borrow blueprints and you can use them to make ships and modules and the odd ball item..

maybe they will even let you borrow that tech II drone blue print !! all you have to do is ask ;)

sometimes the contract system will surprise you . just be wary of that to good to be true contract sitting in that station your just not to sure about . but hey its there for the taking !!

i keep forgetting stuff... kill those battle ships at the belts !! they bring you in iskies as wells. just dont get caught with your pants down as that will cost you iskies. or you could do the opposite and catch people with their pants down and get their iskies but they may be playing all innocent like and you jump on em trying to take their iskies only to find out they were already ready to take your iskies and you end up loosing your iskies but if your prepared you still may be able to take all their iskies but that requires planning and some people who know what their doing . and probably costs a lot of iskies.

If you have to come here and ask those questions you should reconsider your choice of corp and alliance.

When you sell him out to another fleet and gank his ass you win Eve.
