You will note that IPH prices Herm at 124k

Jita sell price RIGHT now is 124k, because they got bought out.

Until this afternoon it was 64k.

so, either you were overpaying for your Herm, or you were selling too cheaply

When were they selling below build cost in Jita, you said they were.

Both Hermetic Membranes and supercomputers primary use is in POS related modules and towers. And guess what? most POS related items are selling very poorly right now, with large towers down 50M from around 2 months ago.

And not only that with the increased costs of POS fuel players will be spending more time doing PI to create their own fuel blocks to cut down on costs. Basically this means all PI prices are going to go down. Hell look at robotics. Even with the huge speculation on fuel blocks/ice robotics are down 15K from just a few weeks ago.

So congrats fellow, you made a bad bet that PI prices will be going up.

This was covered by the removal of T2 mats from T1 modules, but I was expecting added minerals, not PI mats, but still the difference is insignificant. No suprise here for me, sorry.

If you invested 13 billion into this, I'm sorry but your profits are not going to be near what you expected.

Did you forget to subtract the cost of the T2 mats after you added to cost of the new PI mats?

Also the only reason PCD sells in high volume is because of the low price. if the price goes up to much the sales will drop.

Another tidbit for you that has not really had an effect yet. These PCD's are used mostly for the Cloak MWD trick, which does not work so well any more due to lag caused my the system scanner running everytime you jump into a new system. When player realize the stealth nerf of the MWD cloak trick, the sales of these will drop huge, regardless of price.

Your find is unique enough to not be embarrassing, but certainly not something anyone "missed out on"

Yes you are lucky that nobody took the bet. As soon as I saw the prototype cloaking device mentioned I remembered that CCP post. The materials requirements are interesting. Perhaps I have some of those materials already laying around somewhere. At least the research into other things will not be wasted.

Nanite Repair Paste went up because of speculation, check further down on the market history. they might have settled a lower than before the speculation, but they weren't 40k before it.

Glad you weren't using the other non documented change, which imo is an exploit and needs to be fixed.
