So Ive sorted out all the different types of encounters/missions in the game. Was confusing for a bit. Complexes, plexing, Ded, incursions, anomalies, combat sites, grav, radar, mag sites, ratting etc.

The only things Im still not sure whats going on is Radar, mag sites. Whats going on with these?

Radar and magnometeric sites are no more, they are now Data and Relic sites respectively.

A bunch of spread out containers. You hack them via a minigame. When succesfull about a dozen loot cans get spewed out and you try to grab as many as possible by clicking on them in space. Rinse and repeat till all containers are hacked.

when you say as many as possible what keeps you from grabbing all of them?

is there a difference between data and relic sites?

The main things Relic sites give you are salvage parts and BPCs, Data sites on the other hand drop decryptors, datacores, and things along those lines.

What keeps you from grabbing all the loot is the fact that it A) scatters fairly quickly, then B) despawns after a few seconds. The cans start blinking when they're about to despawn.

It helps if you know where the containers spew out and position yourself about 1 to 1.5k from that, in the direction they spew ;)

Oh and only 1x click to grab! Do not double click, or you ship will start moving.
