For those with extremely low fps: Are you somehow preventing the client from writing combat log files to disk? This might explain your issues. Please do not restrict the client in this way.

thx

I saw CCP Karkur in help chat earlier and I believe she confirmed that this was a bug. It should be fixed relatively soon.

Yes, this is a bug (yeah, partially my fault Oops) and I have already tested the fix for it. It should come to Tranquility soon (hopefully next downtime).

Also seems to be a related issue with creating Corporation Sell Orders from Corporation Hangers.

I'm not aware of any restrictions, i didn't set any (wouldn't know how^^).
Just reinstalled my System on patch day and got not much more on disk than eve right now.

How can we check if writing combat logs works fine?

Please, move the "traffic control" before we jump into that ******* laggy tunnel that sometime make the client freeze / crash... It's really annoying...

You are very likely not affected by this, if you have not done anything on purpose. Please send a bug report from within the client (press F12) and I'll have a look at your logs to go sure.

Actually, can you make it possible to do anything station-related from containers in the item hangar? It's annoying having to transfer minerals, BPOs, items, etc. into the item hangar for services when the items are clearly located in the station.

Enter grid and you're already dead, destined to be reborn and fight another day.

I did, and allowing write access to the log directory solved the problem. Thank you.

Now, how do I prevent the client from abusing my drive with its logs? Is there any way to disable logging, or do I have to use a RAM disk?

"Fly before patch, fly after patch"

My main ship for nearly a year has been the NH, now 4 new skills have been created and included and necessary skills and ic ant fly it.
So not only i have several command shipd that i could fly before and cant fly now, but most of all the ship i most use for nearly a year, its a dead piece of metal in the station.

Is this going to be solved and will i be allowed to fly the ships i could fly before?

Thank you

You can fly everything you could fly previously. Ffs - how many times does that have to be said? Read the DevBlogs (and all the replies to the posts asking similar questions in this very thread).

Still waiting for a solution so that i can undock and check the new features of this patch.

For the time being, the only new feature i have found is... not being allowed to undock and fly my ship.

Thank you,

Fon
Have you actually tried to fly the ship?

Can i fly it inside the station? Do i not say in my post that i am not allowed to undock?
So, after reading again, the answer would be "Yes, it is true that i cant fly the ship"

Thank you for trying to help.

Cheers,

Not sure if this has been reported, but on one of my characters I have maxed torp + caldari bs skills. Shows 30km range but the torps do not reach target. They don't even reach 20km really. Anyone else see this?

This is with T1 ammo.

I sometimes get black screen when undocking (video card: hd7750), but switching to solar system map and back brings back the picture.

When exporting patch, the file dialog didn't open in the normal place (where other launchers would look for patches), also the import patch didn't work in my launcher - it truncated the previously exported patch file to zero length.

Just checked "my files/EVE/" and saw some folders were write protected, made them all writeable. FPS in warp went from 15 up to around 30-75 after this (heavily fluctuating with lots of small lags, but its a significant improvement).

To file the petition, what logs exactly do you need? (filed one with DXdiag logs yesterday on my alt, its still open afaik).

WTF ?

i've also blocked EVE to write some cache directories, just because i take care of my SSD... I've also one 1Tb HDD

1) CCP could you please STOP this perpetual and stupid write,
2) or LET US CHOOSE the PATH where to store the cache?!

I'm about to let again EVE to write in my SSD, if it was the problem with the poor performance 4 FPS, i'll be very angry, with you CCP of course.

I will not play a game which will seriously degrade mt SSD840 PRO 240Gb performance!
so do something about this, 1 or 2.

The logs get attached automatically when filing a bug report from the client (F12 and then "Report bug"). They are unfortunately not added automatically to petitions.

I cannot give you an official answer at the moment, but maybe following workaround might help you: For 2) you can redirect the logs to a folder on your HDD by using a symlink. This is also not really officially supported (as far as I can tell), but it seems to work and I cannot see any drawbacks so far (I am sure, that anybody will correct me on this).

Removed the unused ‘Sell This Item’ and ‘Create Contract’ menu options when right-clicking on an item in a Corporate Hangar Array or Personal Hangar Array

Another fail! Who told you it is unused? We put with that option over 2000 contracts per month. How shall we do that now? With the funneh crappy Contracts page? That would take 5 times longer. A corp hangar in a station has to have that, since you might want to sell stuff for your corporation or put stuff on contract for your corporation, on large numbers is otherwise useless, so put it immediately back, please. Ever thought about jita stations and people putting stuff there for their corp???
