Returing to the game after a 2 year leave of absence. I have noticed a couple game terms that I don't recall seeing before and don't know what they mean..

What is a "Safari"

And what is "Awoxing"?

Awox: Named after someone who joined a corp, and killed the members.

Safari: Join a corp, and kill the members for as long as you can.

The basic idea of a "safari" is that you join a corporation to kill the people in it (rather than to find companions, work with others, be a team player). "Awoxing" is generally used to mean killing players in your own corporation.

There is a relevant discussion here.

It's probably something new players should be aware of.

Edit: beaten to the punch.

My ears are burning.

I won't explain what a safari is, as some dudes were kind enough to drop my guide on you already, but if that sounds like something you might be interested in doing you should contact me in game and we'll get you set on the path.

There really is nothing like being a master of your own destiny.

edit: parity, I sense judgement toward my lifestyle in your voice. :(

It's not my thing.

But, I judge not.

I exploded a day-old player the other day. I suppose that takes away my right to judge even if I were so inclined.

It's not something I do, so I refer people to someone that appears to know what he's talking about Smile
