The 600/700 series drivers are hurling all over the game right now. Or better put... CCP's code is puking all over the driver. I'm running a 670 with latest drivers and no trouble, but I'm getting the feeling that I'm in the minority of the 600/700 club. Seems a lot are having issues. CCP has said that they're aware and working to fix however.

I had a sort of similar issues with the GTX 690. Updating to the latest drivers fixed it but as you say, it introduced a new bug (the blue screen issue).

However, to solve the blue screen issue, change the shader quality within Eve down to "medium".

Fixed both my issues. For some reason the latest Nvidia drivers cause problems for Eve so perhaps it'll get fixed.

Edit: Just digging around, the blue hue issue is happening in other games as well so it might well be terrible Nvidia drivers which they'll update.

I was curious to see if it was just your video card that was nice and fast, but it seems your system is solid.

I'm out of ideas

hey, just curious, have you submitted a bug report with your system info

it might be that part of their evaluation depends on responding to bug reports, if you know what I mean.

you have 2 SSD in raid, i could bet you prevented EVE from writing logfiles

check if this the case, follow the links below.

this happens mostly to SSD and/or Notebook users who prohibited EVE to write logfiles in the folder Documents\EVE\logs, if this the case you know why (save SSD from degrade and/or having more autonomy with the Notebook preventing many and costant HDD write access)

customer with this problem (low-fps with 0% GPU usage and High CPU usage) solved this allowing again EVE to write the logs, check if this is the case:

eventually a workaround to save SDD or Notebook battery (this need a RAMDRIVE) is here:

I had a problem with the video card in Retribution.

are you still within the time cutoff for having an RMA? I think it's worth getting it replaced through the manufacturer--they took mine even after I had flashed the backup bios improperly. I received a new one free, under warranty.
