As I posted in the feedback thread:
I don't mind the expansion...the only major issue I have is with the new Shield / Armor / Hull alarms and the "I'm being shot" bubble sound. First of all they are WAY TOO QUIET! Second why did you change them from the way they were? They worked, and worked well.

If you think this is a better alarm system, at least give it enough volume to punch through the mass sound of 35-40 ships shooting, a bunch of idiots on voice comms, and background noise in your computer room / hidey hole. Come to think of it, isn't those alarms suppose to be internal sounds (inside your head / pod)? Shouldn't they be louder than external sounds (aka ships go boom, and weapons fire)?

Running incursions multi-box is amazingly rough now as there is no damage warnings, or if there was it was so quiet it got lost in the 7x 1400mm "quieter turret effects" arty pieces going off.

FPS 3.6 in w space

at a POS was laggy for 5min plus had to reboot FPS never even displayed did'nt realise FPS was capable of a minus figure..lol


we are a lot with this problem, and it's not a nvidia exclusive, players with AMD had this issue as well, fps 3 to 4 and high CPU usage, it was noticed Yesterday with Odyssey deployed, and it is still here after patch 1.0.1 ... low graphic performance that lags all the game, unplayable.

i've noticed and reported the problem here in the forum, can't open a ticket ingame due to the lag cause by the problem.
unfortunately for me i've got the problem on both office and home PCs, different configuration, same problem.

Office PC: Win7 64bit Home SP1, i3-3225 (iGPU disabled), 8Gb RAM, SSD830 128Gb, nVidia Sparkle GTX650Ti, driver 314.22
Home PC: Win7 64bit Pro SP1, i5-2550K (iGPU disabled), 8Gb RAM, SSD840PRO 240Gb, nVidia Gigabyte GTX570OC, driver 314.22

all worked fine until Odyssey, all other games/Steam work perfectly

New signatures still don't show up on the scanner list until you do something to make the list repopulate ( change filter, click show anomalies).

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

1. I can no longer right click for sub menus in station, nor within the items window, right click would appear to have been disabled completely whilst in station, I/we are lucky to have a POS so I can still switch ships, I am guessing that this is a "rare" client issue, not affecting everyone.

2. I have experienced completely black space,

GPU Nvidia GeForce 460 GTX
Windows 7 (64)
Phenom II x4 955 3.2 Ghz

In order to further test issue 1. I will clear cache, if that fails I will uninstall and reinstall client, if that fails please expect a slightly whinging and potentially bitchy petition and forum post, as for the Graphics issue is a pain, but so long as I can see the overview is a disappointment rather than a complete disaster.

I've also posted in the feedback thread , as i couldn't find out from the Devs in help chat if this is intended or not:

The column sizes in the anomaly results window are fixed. Is this intended? if so can you resize them so that Distance doesn't take up so much space (its double what it needs to be) and at least add that wasted space to the Type column.

I know they get larger when you increase the size of the scanner window but for those that don't have the screen estate, it's unworkable.

Issues:

1)Right Click menu on the ship model in hangar is broken, not working anymore.
So to repair, change drones or whatever i have to rightclick on the ship icon inside the 'ship hangar window' ...Not fun CCP

2)Camera begins zoomed to the ship when undocking, regardless of the last distance it was set... the old bug is back

oh, you also said the scorp has 110 scanres on the patch notes. it doesnt. It has 75 still. Please fix it.

Right Click Ship model in station doesn't work anymore.

It's a hassle finding the right ship in your hangar if you have a lot of ships and you need to repair modules, drones, ship hull ect.

Scan probes will bounce to random locations it seems when using pinpoint.
Including at one point somewhere far outside the solar system (3+ diameters)

Usually this happens if alt-tabbing while in warp. Disable/Re-Enable sound to fix.

Still get the ship change bug in WH space sometimes, resulting in an empty list.

Signatures don't autopopulate the list when they appear. You have to change filters or click the show anomalies button to make it update.

If you've scanned down one signature, you can't get the others back in the list at all without probing them all down again.

When you change ships, you keep your list, so if you don't have all the sites after probing, they don't get them either.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

I agree, way too quiet!!!! I thought I was the only one with this issue.

With Covert Ops trained to 4, meta 0 analyzers, achaelogy and hacking 3, my viruses have a strength of 30, instead of the expected 60. It seems all ships with a strength bonus just add a +10 flat role bonus.

I have a few points:

1. i cant ignore the instant scans from my scanning, ie the sites that are 100% all the time without probes out. these sites are always there and makes it annoying when there is quite a few.

2. the damage warning sounds are far to quiet... i had my volume up and zoomed out to get it to work as it used to and then i took a gate and lost my hearing for 30 seconds... balance these sounds please...
people that dont use these sounds have them disabled, so please allow those who use them to actually use them.

3. why are any mining sites instant scans now as per point 1.
you add new features and make scanning easier and yet you remove all challenge with grav sites and yet ladar sites still need to be scanned.

4. if you wanted there to be more mining why allow for miners in low, null and WH to be found without any effort and ganked easily. you have just made every grav site as useful as a belt.. i have enjoy this as the ganker, but i would not look forward to being the miner. yesterday whilst in the cloak after jumping i was able to find 3 miners in a annom warp to the annom.. re position and gank them without much effort at all.

5. as per point 4 and 5 why have you made grav sites too easy to find and therefore making them easily found in high sec and mined within hours and yet in WHs you have made mining a daring sport that can be warped too and attacked within 10 seconds of someone entering your WH for the first time with a bomber.

6. there needs to be a button to reset the sequence on the auto tagging back to 1 and A... atm the only way to reset is to retag over your previous 7 8 9

The patch notes say +10 bonus to your Data and Relic Analyzer Strength.

In game ship description says...

Covert Ops Skill Bonus:
20% reduced CPU need for Cloaking Devices per level
10% increase to scan strength of probes per level
10% reduction to survey probe flight time per level
+10 Virus Strength to Relic and Data Analyzers

It does not say per level

So this is the way it is suppose to be.

But it should be a ship bonus instead of a shill bonus.
