3) No more fracking PLEX ideas! PLEX is a PILOT LICENSE EXTENSION\Aadd Game Time not a drop pit for everything else. If anything use Aurum but stop this push on PLEX as it makes prices go through the roof IG please, for the love of the Four Empires, pleeeease.

I'm usually against the "Let my tidy my skill sheet\reallocate SP" and still am 50\50 but I like the new spin from the OP. Good going there.

Seems like a lot of different counters, timers, tokens and programing work for an idea which you admin that "95% of the community hates".

The problem I see with SP reallocating is that your pilot is defined by your skills. It's who he is, and who he was. After all in life do we all have skills that are no longer applicable to our goals and efforts. although I could trade wiggling my eye brows for learning how to do helicopter now... I would.

With that said, you have a well thought out idea. So i'll contribute to what I feel would suit it.

I don't like the idea of removing a skill completely, again it defines your pilot. However changing specialties I can understand. So instead of removing a skill completely I would suggest only having the ability to reduce a level 5 skill to level 4, and transfer that SP gradually to the progress toward improving a level 4 skill to 5.

I do like the idea of gradually adding the bonus. It a good balance to the proposed mechanic, and avoid character's from changing from one specialty to another to exploiting the FOTM. I would like to add onto it.

Depending on the rank of the skill would determine the bonus you receive'd towards your training, each rank applying +10% to the transfer'd amount. This would mean that Rank 1 LvL5, would only offer +10% back, and a Rank 8 LvL 5 +80%, including rank 16 LvL 5 at 160%. The SP would apply gradually to the learning of another level 5 skill, However you can only apply the *Forgotten* SP to ONE SKILL, alongside the restrictions of a limited ability to do so. So if you went for that carrier, spent the month and a half training, and changed your mind, you can practically insta learn a new skill... but you still lost out on all those days.

I agree that it should use aur. That currency need's some attention. However... it's still going to affect the plex market as plex can be converted. I wouldn't worry too much though, as higher values on market has always resulted in a surge of PLEX purchases, which always put's it back down.

Along with the proposed suggestion, I want to offer one finale detail to discourage abuse, and add some lore. This feature can only be taken advantage of at a outpost that offer's a Jove Medical bay. The Jove's endless thirst for knowledge has attracted them to the experiences of us pod pilots. Jove's always being very generous with their capabilities and technology have begun offering a service to pilots. In exchange for complete access to your memory, they assist in your own endevours of learning by transfer's applicable knownledge to the pursuit of another. During the process the pilot become un-responsive and unable to be actively played. These bay's will behave similar to manufactory in that, there is a limited seating. You can put in a request for the service when available at any station, and the spot will be reserved for you use.

To mitigate the obvious surge of demand this service would entail, each pilot will initially only be allowed to participate every 6month's.

Along with that... upon doing so, the Jove's will ask you think of a memory you hold dear, an experience that they may find be of interest in. This will be the only option aside from viewing your character sheet that this character will have. This "Memory" will be saved in your character detail's under a new tab labeled "History"... or "memories"

I don't know about you, but if I learn a skill in real life and then don't use it for several years... well its not like riding a bike, which is attributable to muscle memory. Actual memory is a lot more fickle. As we focus on new goals and neglect old skills, we gradually lose those old skills. I think it would be good if there was some sort of emulation of this process in-game. It increases the immersion. Maybe we could even make it completely passive:

If a player doesn't make use of a skill they have trained for 12 whole months, those SP begin to trickle away into nothingness. Not recyclable, not for re-allocation, just gone. Perhaps the trade-off would be that if the player wanted to re-train a "forgotten" skill, they could do so at an increased rate of skill training.

The major difference between "YOU" and the pilot, is the pilot brain in unique in that it retains and transmit EVERYTHING it knows. Not to mention I don't know about you, but give me a few days practice at something I haven't done in years, and it's like sitting on a bike again. Truth is you don't forget, you compartmentalize. The problem is that as you get older it becoming harder to un-compartmentalize older information especially for those... that stopped learning new things.
