Yet another undock suggestion

No, the location is fine. It's just muscle memory. Get over it people.

It needs more feedback. I get it, the yellow thingies pulse orange and some text shows up, but undocking should be more epic. You're undocking a SPACESHIP from a SPACE STATION and going INTO SPACE to battle other SPACESHIPS. I don't think a few pixels subtly changing color is sufficient. Most of the time, I'm not sure I actually clicked undock, there's nothing happening. There should be some giant arms grappling my ship and towing it towards the undock bay. Or the ship should lift up with engines powering on and little maintenance drones buzzing around it scampering out of the way. SOME indication you're actually undocking on a grand adventure. Or to mine ice.

Also, please to not reset camera zoom on undock, so annoying.

I recomend making this a bay door opening and your ship moving out. It would need to have the camra angle in station to be changed to behind your ship and have it pointed at the door at all times.

The first iteration of the new undock button was approximately 75% larger and was at the bottom of the Station Services menu. When you clicked on it, it would immediately begin the red/orange/yellow color cycle that you now see only when undocking is confirmed.

I liked that undock button quite a bit more than the current one, even if I did feel it was a bit too large.

Point your camera at the doors when you click undock. There are flashy lights, cool smoke effects and stuff like that. Those could do with being more pronounced, and the camera should swing round like it does on gates now...

We've been told that this is but the first of a series of iterations on the undocking sequence, eventually culminating in docking and undocking being as seamless as the jump transitions are now.
