No sound since the patch

As the title say's me and a couple of people in my corp have no sound since the patch. This is a little annoying as a pvper.

Problems here, too. It even mucks up all sound, even ones outside of the Eve app.
Have tried emptying caches but doesn't help.

I'm on an iMac 27".

Edit: Sound in for example Spotify is very crackly and sometimes sound in Eve works but is slowed way down

Same problem. I am looking into this a bit later (RL is calling), and if I find the answer then i will make a how to video. BTW below is a link on how I updated this game when i ran into a problem.

Thanks mine just cleared it self up later that day when I opened another client randomly so it was a bit weird.

I have no sound in EvE. Whether I bypass the launcher, or use the launcher I still have no sound. The settings in eve are enabled so I should hear stuff. The EvE launcher will show up in the sound mixer but the client itself will not. Windows 8 64bit
