The best thing about Odyssey so far, is people getting upset that MintChip was hired. Poor girl just trying to get a check.

Though why she got CCP MintChip and Kil2 couldn't get CCP Kil2 is beyond me. Sexist.

So many unneeded changes. Who are these UI designers? They are amateur, who in their right mind allows this stuff to pass? Why would you change something such as the undock button that has been in the same spot for over 10 years and put it in the top right? Really? Bunch of flipping nutballs. CCP should hire me, but Im betting they couldnt afford me. The jump transition totally not needed.

Scanning is a joke I dont want to go down that route.

I know CCP spends a lot of time and hard work as well as money into these changes.. But please take a minute step back and look at what you are doing.

I think it's great. The radial menus are awesome, I like the way the camera works now, and I like the new graphics. I haven't messed with exploration yet but I'm looking forward to it... it looks cool.

Well, training on my main is paused as due to the blinky new target death animation I can't play the game anymore without feeling like someone's stabbing glass shards into my eyeballs. Since it's pretty much impossible for me to look at the screen anymore in pve or pvp combat, I'm stuck mining for a plex again in order to mine for next month's plex. I may have to quit eve completely until this is fixed because I had enough of mining two months ago.

New target lock death animation problem #1 ^ eye strain and pain Temporary workaround found to one of these.

Mining is screwed.
Exploration is screwed.
Plex running Tengu is screwed.
Gravimetrics are screwed.
Ice is screwed.
Data sites are screwed.
Yet to find a single relic site.
My ships are nerfed.
Not interested in new ones.
Not interested in eye candy.
New death animation is annoying.

So far, it's Zerodyssey. Do not want. 0/10.

Being teh freightergankbear automatically puts you below missionbear and minerbear in carebear hierarchy.

If you're about to make "this will make eve un-eve" argument, odds are you are defending some utterly horrible mechanics against a good change.

An icon blinking is doing that to you? You might wanna get that checked out....

Thats all cool and everything, I see the concept, but terrible execution. They went for the easy way out. Which unfortunately is not the right way to approach this. As I said undock animations sucked before, and always will due to the dynamics of the game CCP has built. Massive changes will have to undertake to have some decent undock animations. For now the way it was prior to Odyssey should be the way it should always be.

So basically you did all the nauseatingly easy and non-fun things in EVE and now that they require thought, effort, and/or a slightly different ship... you've thrown up your hands and declared the game over.

I was moving my recently acquired ice miner to a more central system for selling him and all these green icons were clogging up space. So I started checking them out and now I have all kinds of Gniess, Jaspet, Kernite and Omber sitting in various stations.

My builder thanks you CCP!

Err many of those things where actually changed to require less thought, effort, or a different ship. Most exploration items for example.

loving the new stuff so far. The new animations are a welcome change, skill trees for ships are a lot better thought out than they were before, the big undock / captain's quarters buttons are nice to have and despite what people have been saying about scanning, the changes were very much needed.

Still got to test out some of the other changes, like training two toon on the same account though.

While the Ice changes don't effect me, i'm all for adding an extra step to the process.

Jump gate animations is cool.. i did about 30 jumps one after another.. i dont understand how people are getting motion sickness from it. Sounds silly.

I mean, I haven't even finished training for Tengu yet, nor I possess one. It's my corp mates who got hit by this change.
Exploration requires less thought and effort than ever before. Ice mining basically becomes Ice camping, where the trick is not sitting tight and mining ice, but sitting tight while NOT mining ice. And on top of that, every gravimetric site is a ganker's paradise, happily mined out by venturebots.

So I have no idea about any effort, thought, or slightly different ship involved in this change. Care to elaborate, Pipernelli Spacemit?
