That's it.

After a few months on the market with T1, i jumped to the T2 without knowing whats going on.

Heres what i did so far, please let me know if i skipped any important step or anything.

1) After a little research on the Market... bought a few T1 BPOs.
2) Move T1 BPO's to the Copy Slot on my main station
3) Starting T1 BPO's copy job (Max run on Modules will go like these: 20 Copies 300 Runs = 2 days 17 hours)
4) 2 days later, get all the T1 BPCs (Max Runs) put them on the invention slot and start to pray to get at least 1 of the 20 copies successfully made.
5) Get the T2 BPC(s) (-4-4)
6) Go the Manufacturing Slots and crank up those Slots to get the T2 module made

Did i skip any important step on the whole process?
is it that simple?
So far the waiting times on copies and Invention has been the worst.

I was told that having the t1 BPO researched to optimum material was important.

Yes I am an alt. I see no reason to make it easy for bullies and greifers

The research levels of the T1 BPO have no effect on the research levels of the T2 BPC, the chance of success or anything else.

You were told incorrectly, the ME/PE level of the BPO has no relevance for invention.

OP, you missed a couple steps prior to step 4:

3a) acquire the (reusable) data interface (only 1 is required)
3b) determine whether you want to invent using decryptors and meta modules
3c) acquire required datacores, and any decryptors/meta modules from (3b), which are consumed inputs to the invention process

But otherwise yes, you've mostly described the complete Invention/T2 mfg process. Using the highsec copy slots is not recommended due to the long queue time as you've observed. The BPC copying is the bottleneck in this process. For that reason, copying BPOs in lowsec and/or POS is strongly recommended. Alternately you can buy BPCs off contracts.

I'd recommend at least considering buying some T2 component BPOs (and researching them if you haven't bought them already researched). You won't always want to build your own components but there are definitely times that's the best route to take.

Meta modules are pretty sweet, although they can be expensive. You can farm them to an extent in Level 4 missions (that's how I get around 1/5th of the ones I use), or if you search around you can buy them cheaper than market rate. They can be quite expensive.

Remember to add in the price of the data cores and meta modules in your invention cost, if you're a spreadsheet boffin, because it all comes out of the bottom line. Though if it's the difference between profit and loss, you might be better off spending your time choosing some other module to invent.

First week.
Lots of invention, around 180 t1 copies were transformed on 80 t2 bpcs.
Had to buy a few t2 bpo components to start building the modules.
A few of them were buyed.
Around 20 manufacturing slots were used for this process.
Only back draw I had encounter so far was a few t2 components will take around 2 days to be finished.
After all that, I'm expecting to make a profit of around 500m onmy first week .
Is that a decent number for someone startingout on this bbusiness.

Btw, I had produced 8 differentS modules.

One more question,, at some point I had to build some 120 t2 component, and only used one manufacturing slot for it.
Is that the correct way to do it?

Ps: should I start thinking to me/pe some of t2 bpo components for better efficienc ?
