New patch failed :( Any ideas?

On patching I get the following error from the error log:

Any ideas anyone? I have tried running repair the patch but still get the same, it downloads then I get this error on install

For future reference there is a repair tool in the eve folder if you ever have any patch problems.

yeah i was just trying to use the repair tool and it gives me error messages too

There are many things on your computer itself you could try updating as well as trying to reinstall and of course filing a petition from the website

Yes, indeed, that's all true.

When I tried to re-install I
double click on the Installer program as downloaded from Eve
it says "Welcome to Eve online setup. Click next to continue" and I do that.
Then it has the TOS, and I accept that.

Then it asks me to choose the install location and I leave it on Default, and click next.

Then it runs for about 3 seconds and says "Archive extraction failed: 3."

Now I've only been running even since 2004 on 5 accounts. I tried everything i could think of to get this to work.
There was a forum thread by a GM about this with recent metalinks, but two of the links are "404 not found", they're dead.
Petitions are fun, and yes I enjoy them and send them in. Sadly I've found them often to be less than helpful.

I had a different problem with the patch, but Run as Admin fixed that.
