Farming Mags/Radars

After reading the above that Radars and Mag's respawn their sleepers after DT, I thought cool, lets farm a Mag/Radar instead.
So I kill off the sleepers and wait until DT and check on each site, but there are no sleepers...just cans.

I tested this on both Mags and Radar sites in two different C3 WH's.

Am i missing something here?

The Wiki is generally outdated, wrong and useless. Ignore it.

Note how the article does not even name the sites correctly. "Magnetic sites" instead of "Magnetometric", which is of course also outdated as of today.

Guess it depends if you used a carrier or dreadnought.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Since when do C3 sites have capital escalations?
I though it was only c5 and c6.

No local in null sec would fix everything!

In this last patch, they removed rats from all Radar/Mag sites. Now, they spawn if you fail to hack a can, not upon spawn of the site.

Yeah, well, it's just like my opinion, man.

not true, all rats are still there at warp-in in every wh I've checked today

Edit: From the patch-notes "Removed all NPC’s from Hacking and Archaeology sites, with the exception of Wormhole sites"

I can confirm that C1 mags/radars still respawn their sleepers at DT.

Given how terrible the data/relic cans are in C1s compared to sleeper salvage, it's pretty much guaranteed that you're better off farming the thing for a few days than dealing with the hacking/archaeology stuff.

If for some reason you're a masochist and do decide to do hacking/archaeology in a WH, grab the "equipment" cans first. They at least have a chance to be something other than junk. Everything else is guaranteed to be junk.

It might actually be better to fail the hacking in some sites. Have we confirmed that failure spawns sleepers and what gets spawned?

They removed the NPCs spawning on failure.

Well that sucks given you can scan the cans and determine if it's worth hacking....

Yes, I've had another mate of mine tell me the same in he's C1's, Mag/Rad sleepers respawn after DT.
I'm waiting on feedback from a C2 owner too.

Yesterday I thought I'd kill off all sleepers in a Radar (c3) except for the last frigate, and that maybe the respawn requires leaving one ship unharmed in the Radar or Mag. No such luck, after DT, only the final frigate wave respawned.


So to summarise:

C1: Respawns
C2-C6: Unknown
C3: Does not respawn

Did my first c5 mag erm relic site today since the patch. Took me about 3x the time for about the same in loot Ugh

I grabbed mostly equipment containers and ignored scraps (obvious) and data containers. Also got a few parts containers but not many. I wonder if that was right or what holds the best stuff in relic sites.

One thing I observed is that I failed twice at one of the containers and could do it a third time. Aren't they supposed to explode or be empty when failing them twice?

Also there was no way I could watch d-scan like I should have, so if someone had been hunting I'd have slim chances to not get caught. Good thing that 95% of C5's are empty 95% of the time Ugh

They should really reduce the number of containers in wh sites and concentrate the same loot in fewer containers...

Not sure about C5s but I have gotten parts from scrap cans, Data cans are rubbish though.
