Patch doesn't doesn't start

My patching doesn't start.. I double clicked on the exefile thing.. Once the game starts it prompts me that there's a new patch, downloads said patch and closes client. Not the launcher downloads something.. finishes downloads then nothing happens.. i tried opening the launcher but nothing happens.. the repair tool has an error.. i retried opening exefile and does the whole download thing again.. it's kinda looping itself without the actual patching going on..

need help on this..

Run the repair tool this fixed it for me I had to reboot and run the repair tool as my first step though.

Do you still have the old launcher (version 1.32, it should say in the title bar)?

If yes, then try installing the latest version of the Launcher manually using this installer:
http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_1_545736.exe
