[[ FIX ]] Launcher Validating Client 0.0% Issue

Honestly I wouldn't complain too must, we have had basically a personal dev doing his/her best to fix it now, alot of game companys are not interested unless it affects a majority of players, if it's just a small percentage alot of companys take the **** them they can wait til we patch it approach, we have a dev here trying to fix it here and now.

nothing as of yet.

running evefile.exe from bin folder downloads and instals evepremiumpatch548234
(DL location C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\cache)

during instalation i did saw error in creating some shortcut somewhere, but didn't have time to note error and im not sure which log file logs this specific instalation. launcher still hangs at 0% validation, and evefile.exe reports incompatible version and offers to redownload same file again which does nothing

EDIT:

So I installed the launcher patch that is under the thread in General Discussion rebooted the launcher, it did something different, w00t but it said downloading launcher update, I left that running and then it failed on the launcher update, the launcher log is below.

went for offline installer for clean install, can't start download at all from: http://community.eveonline.com/support/download/offline-installer/

Works fine for me i'm downloading them atm fine, but with my connection speed i'm looking at 10+ hours download time so i'd rather not have to resort to that.

Managed to install the offline client no problems here, tried to run it and the launcher was stuck on validating again, running the repair tool still gives me an error.

Stuck on 0% validation here too.... downlaod and applying the patch was fine.

Just to let you guys know, I'm still looking into this, but there are meetings and questions from others about different issues that might interrupt this process every now and then.
What I can tell you is that you are experiencing an issue with the payload you received. Why, I don't know yet. But I'll keep you guys updated when I find out more, or when I need more information.

Then when I try using the exe file it keeps saying to download the patch goes thru the install but its like it did nothing and its just a never ending loop of needing to install the patch, trying to manualy download and istall the patch now

That seems like a different issue, i'd probably bug report it. You're just having an APPCRASH
