All is working well; what I was watching:

- My racial BC skills are at 5.
- My racial Destroyer skills have 9 hours and 0 seconds left, just as expected.
- Did a character transfer yesterday; handled fine.
- Started the dual skill training; works as intended.

Now those are no small features. And all of that after 4 hours of downtime, not counting "the unexpected downtime" - ammehoela -.

Nevertheless a great job from CCP comparing to Sony. I've been playing EQ2 for quit some years, but thats on hold for now Ugh.
(Talk about another great community btw.)

All I am saying is, CCP deserves credit for this one.

I agree,

I feel I should commission a new artwork in their honour.

Perhaps Ill harvest all the eyes from the miners who are quitting biomassing and otherwise falling under the guns of people sick of them going on and on and on about ridiculous minor complaints and make a nice big wall from them, with the colours arranged in pretty patterns.

Just to confirm--I can only dual train if I buy a plex?

Never mind, found it in the notes.

Alternatively, attempting to start skill training on an account´s second character will cause a notification to appear. This message states if you wish to enable Dual Character Training by using a PLEX you already have, or by acquiring one from the EVE Market or account management.

imho, plex costs more money then normal sub. The way I see it.. for me it would be cheaper to just move one of my toons from my account to an other account and pay the normal subscription with real money for 14.95 instead of buyin plex for 19.95.

but thats my oppinion. hence dual training isnt attractive for me. I do like the idea but the way I see it.. it would cost me more then just having another account active.

Or maybe im seeing it wrong.. If I do then my bad.. if not then lemme give an suggestion.. Create an plex thats only to be used only for the dual training. and make it cheaper the price.

The intended scenario goes something like this:

You have your main, and you think to yourself that you want, say, a T2 invention/manufacturing alt for some side-money where all you do is update industry jobs once a week. Getting the full set of science and industry skills takes 3 months (or some such — it was a long while since I looked the exact time isn't particularly relevant for the illustration).

The old way of doing that was:
1. Create a new account.
2. Throw three PLEX on it to keep it going for the three months required to train all the skills you've planned.
3a. Either keep throwing PLEX at it to retain access to the alt, but it's done so you're not going to train it any more (a stupid idea).
3b. …or just use two more PLEX to transfer it to your main account, and you'll have access to both characters as long as you're subscribed.
4. CCP decides to introduce new skills that the alt needs.
5a. Either stop training your main to update the alt.
5b. …or restart that alt account (1 PLEX), transfer the alt there (2 PLEX) and train it for a month and then transfer it back (2 PLEX).

The new way is:
1. Activate dual training for three months (3 PLEX).
2. Just keep training.
3. CCP decides to introduce new skills.
4. Activate dual training again as needed.

Cheaper, faster, easier.
