Well done CCP on a flawless rollout.

I've logged in no problems, everyones skills are the way they are supposed to be.
Thanks for the 50k SP.
I like the way I can leave the scanner overlay running and see when new incoming WHs spawn.
There's a non-zero chance i might be tempted to mine in the WH now.

Now...having said that.

I can't work out how to set up custom probe formations.
My probe launcher now only holds 8 probes. Change for change sake?

Anoms should not be a toggle button, there's no reason not to make your own custom filters if you want to see them.
You cannot ignore Anoms while the check button is active.

I want to filter all Grav but leave combats. This maybe be possible through the filters, I thought I'd come here and ***** first though.

Mousing over Sigs while having the overlay active, in both system map and planet mode should not be making noises.

I see WHs did not get a spacescape update, so poop on you for that.

Battle Cruisers and Destroyers (the old skills) are still listed on the 'skills I can currently train' list despite having BC5 in all Racials now.

Now I'm going to log into a k-space toon and jump back and forth through gates until I get over it.

You are not the only one a bit surprised about those changes, I was busy mining away when I noticed a red target with spinning circular borders.
Thought I was in trouble for a second. Big smile

If you zoom in on your ship, turn your sound right up and hit a MWD if makes a cool sound.

Like it.

Got a real, ohshit this is going to spin up and crap a bearing type of turbine noise.

Those big regional stargates are bloody excellent.

Odyssey changes have been on the test server for weeks now, so it's not like the update has gone completely untested. Interestingly though, using the test server for brand new stuff is usually glitchy as hell but for Odyssey things that went up (that I tried) felt pretty solid.

The 8 probes thing has also been known for a while, and was blogged extensively by the devs.

Overall there's no massive surprises here unless you avoided/missed the dev blogs on the exp

Not going to do charity work beta testing mate.

I did read the blogs pretty extensively and was under the impression that custom formations and less than 8 probes was going to go in.

And.....the server just farted and DC me.

Jita at 25% TiDi is pretty amusing.

LOL 10% now it's like flying in soup!

If you've never seen eve in super slow-mo, I highly encourage you to go to Jita.

Better when you have a huge fight going on, with TiDi it's really impressive to figure out you're already at destination but your screen still shows you're at half way to "whatever destination", this is amazing. Jita is jita, everything going on at Jita is always meh.

mine too, over 300 entries. might be due to the deep space probes listed that were removed from the game in the last patch. i think i had them listed including the Sister of EVE ones. not sure what the fix is.

You're quite right about the probes being the problem.
I don't have time to go into great detail this morning, but my solution to it was to delete the character and user.dat files corresponding to my market alt.

Overwrite the market alt with a character who does not have anything in their market quick bar.

easiest way is to log in to the affected toon, then log out.
sort the settings folder containing all your *.dat files by time last modified.
delete the last modified ones.

Where the folder is...yours will be different.

If you were a scanaholic before the changes, the new controls and means of moving and adjusting the probes is a real pain in the arse to get used to.

But eventually you get used to it.

Bring back DEEEEP Space!
