I just realised he purchased a character without Cruiser 3+ or BC 3+.

Did he buy an industry alt who is is trying to train for combat or id he just buy the most terrible character he could find?

Queue up Amarr Frig IV, and Minmatar Frig IV. Inject Amarr Cruiser whilst training the Minnie levels. It's not rocket science.

They told us 6 months in advance, that's enough time to train all the Battlecrusiers pre-requirements to 5, three times over...

Some people just made their accounts recently though, they don't need to train the bc skills to 5 or 3 or whatever you need as the bc skills might be quicker to train afterwards aswell, it's just like they said, if you can fly it before (meaning Stats are exactly the same) you can fly it after, it's just if you have BC 5 and don't train the prereq's for the other races you're denied level 5 BC for the other races.

We're not the ones pissing ourselves in rage over 17 days of skilltraining time when you could have been more careful and bought a character with all the presets done. Especially when it's so close to the patch days.

My personal fleet consists of caldari battle cruisers and destroyers and gallente and minmatar destroyers.... pretty sure ill be putting my sp into caldari primarily...

my issue is this i can't find any info on racial changes anywhere in the odyssey info... does anyone know what rank dessys and bc's will be? how much will the books cost and how can ccp justify adding about 7-8 weeks of skilling to my schedule just so i can fly ships i have been flying for the last 6 months?

Any links giving real info would have been better than rumours and then finding nearly 2 mill sp and 2 lvl 5 skills have been removed from evemon with no idea how that is going to be addressed..

I can however find info on navy ship rebalancing and the addition of racial navy BC's BUT no navy dessies???? so i guess it was only a partial rebalance after all.

I'm saying that there was no good reason not to train battlecruiser 5 up as early as possible anyway, and once it became known that you'd need 4x as many skillpoints to get the same effect some time in the future, it became a no-brainer.
