Just experienced this problem in the middle of a fight. Lost my ship and still stuck on "authenticating"

this seems to only be happening on the node that the system we are in

I was logged in. My account froze, I went to restart, when I got the same problem. My account is still logged on, even after restarting my computer, and I can authenticate other accounts, just not that one.

I keep receiving the "Connection Timeout - The server failed to acknowledge the client's response to the server's challenge within a reasonable amount of time" error. I was fighting in NOL and I don't even know if I lost my ship. My other 4 accounts connect just fine.

There petitioned the issue on both accounts... Maybe with a greater influx of petitions they will see there is an issue quicker...

I also wonder if the server will eventually boot everyone and the player count will not change thanks to everyone staying "logged in."

I'm having the same issue too - socket dropped, now stuck at authenticating. Even after a reboot. Sigh - my patience weareth thin.

Run repair on your **** launchers everyone there are missing blocks I know mine all of a sudden is broken.

Same thing here. Booted while mining, along with Alt account. Can't log back in. I ran Repair.exe and it thought it did something, but made no difference to my ability to get back in.

Hearing from people that our ships are exposed is worrisome.

How do I petition from outside the game?

It's not your client. It's all on the CCP side.

I'm just thankful I wasn't flying a super or titan.
