Getting sick and tired of this launcher crap.
Every time I run it, it needs to install an update and validate itself, wtf is this.
How many updates can you guys do in a single f'en day, and validations.

it's like, when you go to launch EVE, it's just THERE

How weird is that?

I actually think the launcher should have its own launcher to help validate itself. It would really streamline things and bring in some new players.

just use exeFile instead. create a desktop shortcut and launch from there

As the man before me advised - forget about launcher, go to:

Eve > bin > exec file

and use it to launch as many clients as you want. And it upgrades Eve so no worries.
I stopped using Launcher once i first saw it. No way.
Just no.

The launcher is irritating beyond words. Simple .exe solution works great.

I wish I could complain about how much it sucks but it still doesn't work for me despite the "best efforts" of support.

In general support of the OP, I liked the old one better myself as well to be honest.

Not a *huge* issue but it is noticeably not as efficient and less intuitive in my untrained observation.

The above should be repeated as often as necessary. It works whereas the new launcher will only work right after rebooting my computer.

I like the new launcher too, when it works. I keep getting the ol' Error 7 most of the time though. Sad
