Well here was the situation we got ourselves in tonight...Big smile

We found a corp in a c5 with c1 static, they had a hs hole in their system as well, we used "their" system to travel to hs and they decided to put a bubble on hs hole, we had 1 man left in hs and they didn't want to let him pass and get back, so they anchored a vindi, megathron and gallente logi repper, proteus and some bombers, we gathered what little people we had and decided to come and protect our member, after we jumped to their bubble immediately after they saw they were losing they jumped into hs deciding to stay there for well over 30 mins and still counting... That was the story now comes the question...

After the recent changes to Eve flagging and aggression changes was it possible for us to continue trough the hole and continue the fight on the other side in hs without concord coming and raping us instead of us finishing our ****? Big smile

Thank you in advance for the response

Best Regards

Capt

Edit well this is weird, I was allowed to spell raping and when I wrote r.a.p.e that got dotted... Big smileBig smile

LOL that was us you ran into, i was in the Vindi. There was a grand total of 6 of us on that time of day, sorry we weren't going to just let you pass through our hole freely when we were also using that random HS. Also "what little people you had?" You spent nearly an hour forming up 15 people to fight 6 of us.

We saw what was coming, we stayed to try and fight what we could, and yes we jumped into HS. What else were we supposed to do?

Not to mention our "logi" waited around for so long he was late for work, and you guys waited long enough to form up that we lost people in our fleet to take you on. You wonder why you didn't get anything, you took so long to form up that our scouts saw what you had coming, so we all moved onto the hole.

It was a nice try to try to bait us off though, not very effective though... obvious bait is obvious.

However, to more specifically answer your questions:

1) there are no "suspect" or "criminal" tags in wormholes, just aggression timers.
2) In wormholes, Concord can't hear your screams.
3) It forms up the fleet, or it gets the whip again.
4) out of weird puns...

Basically, the only thing you would have been able to kill on that hole would have been if we had brought in a capital ship. Capital ships cannot jump through to HS.

Basically, the moral of the story is that if you want kills on ships that are off of the HS hole you have to do the following:

1) Not take an hour to form up more than double the ships on a HS hole
2) Not take an hour to form up 15 ships to engage 6 ships on a HS hole
3) Be aware that in wormholes, your enemy likely already knows your fleet comp before you land on your side of the hole.
4) Escalate slowly. If you land with all of your ass at once, typically people are just going to run away (rightly so, no point in throwing away ships if you know what is coming).

basically, I had to leave as soon as that engagement was over.... I drove to work trying to figure out what I was going to tell my boss when I was late (I decided on a flat tire).

I like the flat tyre excuse - the boss can't dispute the excuse because you have an inflated tyre now, because you wouldn't be there at all if it was still flat.. Genius!

Thank You! my thought process exactly! and when she asked about where the flat was, I was just like "look at these hands, I called AAA, they took the thing."

Broken cars are so overused as an excuse. I usually just tell my boss I was having sex.

For some strange reason, she always drops the conversation right about then.

fighting on hs holes is probably the most garbage type of PvP in wormholes :(

Only way to get a kill is bump someone off and then web/kill them

Happened on a highsec wormhole. Was a Pulsar. They decided it's time to polarize themselves.

Luckily at my job I'm not late unless I'm not in before 11. If I'm in after 11 my excuse is I stopped to get lunch. My boss really can't complain too much as my part of the project is on time, and his bonus is linked to employee retention. It's hard being a programmer in Silicon Valley....

Welcome to one of the many **** things about pvp in wormholes, unless you can bump **** off the wormhole there is no point in even trying to fight on a hs hole

You just need the right ship and the right tactics. Looks like these dudes had neither. I prefer the insta-lock vigilant and a small drag bubble to 1 shot blind warp in's from off dscan.
