While I think the OP sounds like an ass in his tone, a lot of people weren't able to access their training queues over the weekend. It would be nice to get some SP for this.

Wow you're ignorant as everyone here and twice as stupid. If you would read what was written in the post you would see that I stated not once but twice (this is why your twice as dumb it's been said twice) That this was a newly purchased character.
So no I did not have a year to train this. I had enough time to train it providing CCP does what we as paying customers pay for them to do, And that it provide a service. We pay for service we were denied said service for two days.

This was also due to a lack of security on their part. They have already stated that there was a weakness that someone exploited. This was well within their control, and they failed to secure their servers properly.
All this ass kissing that is being done here it pointless. CCP will not see that you are on their side. They will not see that you are not asking to be comped and reward you for being a kiss ass.

They will not know your name, they do not give a **** who you are. You all only look like a bunch of suck up fan boys who one
can't stand to see a negative thing said about their game. And two think that CCP might reward you in some way for being a kiss ass.
I understand that for 99% of you (this is a factual number) that "EVE IS REAL" I know this is your life blood.
I know that this is your escape and a way to get back at the cruel cruel world that shuns you at every corner.
A way to get back at the boss who promoted the more qualified guy. Or pay back for all the bullys who took your lunch money back in school. Revenge for the girl that turned you down and laughed at you.

But it is non of those things. It is a business. A business has one sole reason to exist that's profits.
You can bet your sweet ass the moment EVE stops making profit and money it will only be a short time after that it gets shut down.
You will be left with nothing all the kissing ass and brown nosing would have done nothing (just like it's doing nothing now)
EVE is doing well now it isn't dying but everything does end be it 1 year or 20 years from now.
And if compensation helps to keep customers money rolling in you can bet they will do it.
And they are in fact coming up with compensation plans so I guess I win after all huh?

Too f'ing bad. :18 months: of warning is your fault for waiting so long to train it on the alt. I even made a new one 33 days ago and using +3s with a cerebral accelorator, she will have all racial bc's to 5 and destroyers to 4.

As to having a vulnerability in their system; gtfo. Ever single computer network has some kind of weakness at some point in their structure. It doesnt matter where it is, how it is secured; eventually that hole will be exploited whether you secure it, know about it or not or even do nothing in the hopes its such a vague hole no one will do anything with it. Which they will.

Having a hole isnt their fault 100% because ever system has holes. You should have planned further ahead with your character purchase and training. HTFU

CCP could turn off and delete EvE tomorrow and theres not **** you or I could do about it. Your character isnt actually yours. Your skills and your ships are not yours. They are CCP's.

You only pay for access to the server, their world. The only compensation you should even feel entitled to is maybe the few hours the server was down. No skillpoints, no free ****, no adjustment so you can get your poorly planned, bought character skills at the very last minute handed to you.
