Thanks too CCP for there diligent work in keeping personal info secure in a insecure digital world. Anyone who is interested in reading about the attack like added below.

If CCP wants to compensate players I suggest free 500k SP would be a fair thank-you to the player base who sub to eve

You want 185 hours worth of training with perfect attributes and +5s for a day of downtime?

Subbed to this game two weeks ago. So far it's been down for about 3 days of that time. The forums are full of folk like OP praising this as fantastic. Personally I think it sucks.

Forgive me for assuming too much if I am, but, isn't a huge free expansion called Odyssey compensation enough?

Perspective is everything, for you its like being born in Baghdad lol, overall it is probably the most stable online game ever created when looking at the big picture.

The expansions have always been free, as you can't play the game without them. Some people call them "glorified patches", and I wouldn't say that at all, but the fact that they're compulsory means it'd be a bit dickish to charge.

Give a man a match and you warm him for a day.

Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

Put it this way, I pay to play so it isn't free.

If CCP were to stop improving/maintaining EVE then they will no longer get my money. They keep improving it so they continue to get my money.

As far as compensation goes, I would have earned isks and enjoyed an evening playing the game. Unfortunately this didn't happen despite the fact that I paid CCP for game time.

Doesn't matter who's fault it is that it didn't happen.

I'm not sure that free s.p. for everyone would make up for this but I'll gratefully apply any that come my way.

I'll settle for a better reaper design in game Blink

Respect. Cool

CCP has already said they ARE going to compensate everyone in EVE AND DUST514. The last few outages were worth 50k(Fifty thousand) SP per day not the 500k (Five hundred thousand) that has been suggested.

Looks like it might make sense to adjust the desires down towards the historically supported past SP gifts. YMMV.

They should make it a mystery gift, and when you open it...you get this; http://i.qkme.me/6nxv.jpg
