So I am looking at making some maps to show where POS's are and such, however I am not really sure where to start.

When I was in the NC, they had some amazing JB maps, and I would love to make something like that.

Can anyone help?

As far as I know, all of the NC maps have been drawn by hand in Photoshop (or a similar program).

I made this map a while ago in MS Visio.

Creating a map is not so difficult, I wrote an example here: http://blog.evepanel.net/eve-online/static-data-dump/creating-a-map-of-the-universe.html

What you do with the dots is up to you. A POS outline, JBs, Sov holders/changes, just put it on top.
