I dont see any way to pause or interupt patches with the launcher, if internet drops it'll resume yea? but can you start/stop it

Use any download manager (Download Master or Flashget for example) with pause/resume option and download patch directly using link in related thread.
Looks like you have stuck in 2000 because you cant download 1 Gb without torrent.

Dont like download managers, gotta admit a torrents easier

Just generally is a torrent up for'em, guess not this time =(

Close the patcher .... it will stop it.
Run the patcher again, it will run from where it stopped....
