Or take a turd on your CQ bed.

Either is good

DUST won't be coming to PC for various reasons that you can google.

Deal with it.

Actually there are even more reasons why it can be done found on google, you might as well deal with that.

Lobby-based PvP-only FPS game? Boring as hell after couple weeks - or hours.

I prefer to see WiS client developed...

I want to drop pod over a planet into a dust game! yes i want to do it with my eve client, i don't mind if it is an extra 6 gig download or whatever and if there will be some loading screen... it should have been done like that in the first place, a lot of people would do it... it would fit perfectly into the other things you can do in the game, just drop pod and shoot some people and then go back to space trading, mining, pvp and stuff, would bring good diversivication to the game...

CCP tried planetary flight a few years ago, and technologically could only get halfway there. They could fly a ship over the surface, but they ultimately chose not to proceed on the concept because they couldn't justify the huge amount of work that would be involved.

Now that DUST is out and running, there's a chance they might revisit the idea at some unknown point in the future, but for the moment, they're focused on other goals.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

IBTl, and hell no.

Why are some people averse to adding more content to a game? If you dont want it dont do it.

Simple. Combat in EVE goes like this -> click target lock, press F1, and beyond this your character's SP and your ship and fittings (ISK) are what determines the victor most of the time. In an average FPS game, you have the actually aim and hit at something yourself, rather than have your character do it automatically. As such, there's a hefty amount of player skill involved, which can eclipse character skill even in a losing rock-paper-scissors scenario. And that just doesn't belong in EVE.

That's why.

Your post doesn't even make sense. His suggestion is the same thing as logging out of EVE, and booting up the PS3 to play DUST.

The only difference is you can play DUST through the EVE client.
