Does the salvaging skill improve the % chance of a successful salvage by drones, or is the only way to improve that with the salvage drones skill?

Does every wreck have a chance to drop all of the salvage items, or do only the high tier wrecks like battleships drop parts like the alloyed bars?

No and then yes, the salvage loot that is dropped is based on the components that are used to construct the ship so all ships have a chance to drop loot specific to the ship but not limited to only that ship
