I am a completely neutral party just looking through the recruitment forums and I've looked in to this a little bit. The pilot was red, maybe the pilot was unaware of his standings or unfamiliar with how standings function and maybe they shouldn't have been red but they were.

If I go in to NRDS space, I make sure I'm not red. It's pretty simple really, it's the one major rule. It's every pilots responsibility to make sure the standings of their affiliates have not impacted their own standings especially when they are traveling through an area where standings are important.

It's not anyone's job to make sure a pilot is not red that shouldn't be except that pilot. It doesn't matter why they were red, they should have known they were red, they should have checked and if they didn't know better they should have been taught to know better by their own organization. You can't expect Yulai to care more about your new pilot than you do.

So any new pilots who have seen the argument against Yulai can be confident that in this case at least (because I know nothing of either side beside what I have found about this particular incident) Yulai was not to blame in any way shape or form and their apology was above and beyond what this situation called for.
