Planetary rings move!

After years of mining it has recently come to my attention that the rings around some planets actually move.

It doesn't seem to happen constantly.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Did you know you can also jump to other systems? :)

I can't see how that's relevant to the game's planetary mechanics.

The clouds and storms also move. The gas planets show visible rotation among the various gases that make them up.

It's sad that the planets don't actually orbit, though.

Maturity, one discovers, has everything to do with the acceptance of not knowing. http://www.di.fm/spacemusic

I've mined at one spot where the rings are just slightly off balance from their rotation. As a result they cross through the asteroid field about once an hour. So depending on when you get there during the cycle, you will sometimes be above the rings, and sometimes below. It is consistent in it's timing for it's rotation.

You have been mining for years and only up recently noticed the game's planetary mechanics. They haven´t done their best to impress you anytime sooner.

Also I was being sarcastic cause well.. Years of mining.. how on earth can you manage to keep that up?

That's really quite an impressive angle there.
