Total scammed amount to date: 12,028,877,928.00 ISK (12 billions)

Not much, considering there's a referral system in place.

You can check it yourself by forging EVE_TRUSTED, EVE_CHARNAME (IGB Headers) and User-Agent HTTP headers. Not sure if they fixed it yet, though.

While its the standard response to call everyone out on their images with 'blargh shopped and fake and badly done!!oneone' it would actually make more sense to try get some info before it.

OP, yes, it's a scam. Same as the one with the Eve wallet api but more elaborate. They modify the api values before it gets on their website. Quite clever I should add.

p.s I thoroughly enjoyed your other thread which I just saw. Nice one!

HTTP headers aren't exploits.

The thing is that in order to view everyone's else orders and referrals you only need to know the character's name, and this, in turn, is publicly available information.

So, in the case of EVE-BAZAAR, sending a different HTTP header is pretty much the same thing as typing different character name in the input field and clicking "Log-In". No password needed, the whole thing is open access.

Why would you photoshop a webpage? Right click in Chrome or Firefox will let you edit most HTML elements on a loaded page.

They've only scammed 12 billion ISK so far? They're not really doing that well at this then.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

It really took you all that to deduce that EVE BAZAAR is a scam?

Seriously?

I didn't deduce, I've proved that.

And yes, it took me about 5 minutes to install Modify Headers for Firefox and start playing with IGB headers.

I also Photoshopped this one for sure: http://i.imgur.com/NkrsQPV.png (chat)

In this case it's even easier to check that, because you don't need any special tools: http://i.imgur.com/nfLC5Co.png

People just need to test the website out for themselves. I'm sure there are people here just saying it's a scam to spite honest business people.

All I can say is it worked for me without any problems. But since I don't run the site, I can't promise everything will be perfect for you.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.
