Actually you are assuming everything, you know absolutely nothing. It's terrific that you've taken notes, but once again and quite simply, if CCP changed something it would all amount to a pile of crap. Much like what's coming out of your mouth. I appreciate the answer of "nope not happening to me, it's random" , but the egotistical crapfest that is everything else can go.

It's easier to understand when you start looking at what's actually written instead of what you want to be written. If I have no evidence that a thing does not exist, that doesn't mean it exists. Therefor, wtf are you talking about?

This seems to be the common mindset for most replies thus far........It's seems in game channels are actually more help than the forums.... I am honestly surprised.

Continue the assumptive rant, please. Just don't expect it to be read.

You really can't read can you? I am assuming nothing. What I can say is that if I look at a large set of data (say 6 months) the salvage has been very consistent.

I can also cherry pick a very small set of data and certainly find situations that match what you have posted about.

Now MAYBE that means that every short string of bad luck I've had is a case where CCP changed something. Nobody knows. But over time the data indicates that it is far more likely that those bumps in the road are simply a string of bad luck.

Now given that, and the comparisons I have made with others who have lived in wormholes longer than I have, I find it FAR more likely that you are hitting a string of bad luck, than a CCP stealth nerf.

But for you I will also leave this

"Nope, not happening to me, it's random"

So you are telling me that the watch setting pattern of salvage I received every day over 80ish sites was completely random, and that the equally exact (but much lower isk wise) pattern for the next 20 sites was also random?

I'm not buying it, but I have no proof either way....

Believe it or not, I can find what you just said, almost verbatim, in EVERY post that has EVER been made about a "stealth" change to a random system (usually invention).

The most consistent feature of these posts is that the OP is never willing to accept the possibility that they might be wrong, no matter how many people disagree with them, and no matter how much math is presented.

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2846527#post2846527

Sound familiarish? Lol

And, finally, the really obvious thing you skipped right over:

Quote:
Anyone else getting a major drop is sleeper salvage the past day or two?

Was making 25-40 million per hour.....now about 9.

If the salvage rate were ACTUALLY nerfed - that is, the supply of sleeper salvage has actually decreased - you would not simply drop from making 25-40 million an hour to making 9. You would be getting less salvage, yes... but so would EVERYONE else in the game. The end result is that the decreased supply, in relation to the relatively unchanged demand, would result in an increase in the price of the salvage.

Has that happened? Is there any economic indication, at all, that the supply of salvage coming into the universe has decreased? If there isn't, guess what: You've just been unlucky lately.

You still don't get it. Normally one talk about evidence for the existence of something. Talk about "evidence that a thing does not exist" is nonsense.

But you are right, you are just stating the reason why we should not believe in the Easter Bunny.

I ran a ladar once. Dropped 9 nanoribbons. Ran a c1 site, no ribbons.

Then I killed a noctis. 87 nanoribbons.

I swear running Noctis sites is by far the most profitable. 2 torp volleys, 100mil.

Also cuts down on ammo costs! 2 volleys compared to 80+ to finish a site is way cheaper.

Unless you're using lasers. Still cheap though.

I had a week where I was averaging 3-4 ribbons a ladar site. Maybe I should have posted one of these threads....

I think something went wrong here. OP made 25 M/h, so he obviously cannot have shot anything that could drop Ribbons. Sure you didn´t jump through a hole and are now shooting red crosses in J-ITA ( it´s not a WH just because it starts with a J). I heard the ribbondrops are pretty crap there unless you find a RMTer .

Still hard to believe that people don't fit the 800plate and 2 resistmods it can fit.

And agree, random is random. Ran 6 (I believe) c2 anoms (cane+oracle) over an hour and made around 150mil in total. One anom was half the total.
