I'm just guessing this is finally in now. Because that whole Launcher Madness episode must have been just an awkward phase we had to get through in order to get cool new features like this that we've only been waiting a decade for.

EvE is supposed to suck.  Wait . . . what was the question?

uhm..

after the first introduction of the launcher the first thing i did was move a shortcut of the .exe file in to the taskbar you know how many time i have use the launcher to actually launch a game.
ONE TIME - the past SSO login update after that the .exe still works like a charm. tbh the launcher to me is a waste of time but it helps to determine the file download thru updates.

I'll just keep using the client exe in C:/Program Files (x86)/CCP/Eve/Bin

After using the new launcher and inadvertently logging off eyes I had on a pos, I've decided that having a HUGE button that says "PLAY" and tiny text that says "switch account" just a coont's hair underneath that big button, was way to error prone and have been using Exefile.exe ever since.

And you know what I've concluded? I prefer Exefile.exe. The new launcher is crap. It's slow, it's problematic and needlessly uses system resources.

Don't ban me, bro!

in the launcher settings, have it keep the launcher open. works great for switching characters quickly without having to log in every time like opening the client directly would make you do.

Client still has to close but re-login is gone.

You, and many others (including myself) are bypassing their advertisements. I would think that CCP is probably working already on a way to force everyone to use the launcher for that reason.
