Dual Screen/Monitor Issue - Ship does not Jump/Dock if clicking other screen..WAI?

This has happened a couple times...
My alt lives in null-sec, this is where it has cost me.

I am docking at a station (or jumping through a stargate)

In order:
Click the dock button/jump button
Start warping
Click on my other screen to read the forums, look at dotlan, or whatever
Ship does NOT dock or jump
Ship sits at ZERO on station/gate..
..forever
..even though I had clicked dock/jump

Is this working as intended?
Seems kind of crappy that you can't click on another screen or whatever and the dock or jump order is reduced to warp at zero?
I have tested it a LOT, it is always like this for me.

Is there a setting I changed/mis-clicked? Must I always be in full screen and not windowed to eliminate this?

TiA for responses :)

I think I experienced this bug on SiSi, but not on TQ. Possibly due to different settings.

I noticed this recently too.

If you are dual boxing with both clients in full screen, the minimized one will not do a session change unless you "unminimize" it.

If you put it into windowed mode it works.

I've had this happen to me before, once or twice. Never really thought about it, tho.

I am always in windowed mode... but it happens in EVERY situation.. if I click off-screen/off-game the jump/dock command does not complete..

Even if in full screen mode and click other screen, this happens.

If it happens on windowed mode, it's a windows feature that you have to turn off. With dual screens, windows automically gives focus to the screen with the mouse on it. Hence why you can't watch fullscreen flash videos on one screen while working on the other. Turn it off and stuff should start working better.

Edit: I should mention, when your working on one screen then switch to another, You have to click on that screen to gain mouse focus on it, then click on the action you want to take. I can't remmember if this is specific to extended display or seperate monitors set up via video card drivers.

It happens quite often for me but only when clients are full screen. However I can run multiple windowed clients without it happening.

I've had this happen but only when switching window focus to a browser, it doesn't happen when I switch window focus to another client. It was 100% repeatable maybe 3-4 months ago, haven't been logged in enough lately to notice whether it still is.

Any idea where this setting would be?
