Restart not working since new launcher

Maybe there is a setting im missing ?

But since the new launcher when i get a "Closed Socket Message" I used to click restart and the system would boot up again and log me back in.

Now i have to relog in to the launcher to get back into the game - particularly a pain for multiple accounts i might add.

The old way was much faster - unless I am missing something here.
