Making reactivation timers visible

Idea is quite simple, for modules requiring a reactivation delay, such as Cloaking Devices or Bomb Launchers, which need to be Off for a certain period of time after last activation.

I think it'd be a good thing to have the reactivation timer displayed somewhere, maybe the same way weapons do, with that white line circling around the module on the HUD, or something else to make sure that clicking the module will do something instead of that pesky message saying it won't :D

Micro Jump Drives is a key subject for this. You have to keep clicking it to check the error message and the time remaining before you can reuse it with the risk of hitting it too late and jumping 100km Cry or whip out your stopwatch\stopwatch App and time the cooldown for it.

Come on, give our Internet Spaceships some cooldown countdowns for everything that requires it!

EDIT: And back to page one for others comments Big smile. Feel free to check out my idea in my sig....it's still active and growing with support.

Well if green means its activated..and red means its shutting down....then perhaps a simple yellow band that spools down around the module while its cooling off would be nice.

This would be great for bomb launchers, cloaks, MJD, RELOADING OF AMMO!!!!!....anything that has a timer associated with the cooldown of a module.

I would also suggest a blue hued band and timer for Nanite reps of modules... but that could be another thread Big smile

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

All of this. Plus the ability reactivate certain deactivated modules. For example going siege red means you have to exit siege before you can siege again. Which means you get to waste 20 second re-locking targets. it would be nice to be able to go back and forth at will.
