I don't think there's any solid reason to use MJD, unless you have uber-crappy skillz.

You want casual? Get a drone boat. I fly Dominix. There are other options but at 90-100mil per hull you can't beat that.
I could solo level 4s at 2.5mil SP with this setup (tried to give advice on that before and have been called BS).
Thing is this you don't need much SP if you're specialized. Focus your training on tank and drones. Warp to mission, 1 cycle of MJD, deploy sentries, sip your drink and repeat.

And by the time you get to use T2 sentries you'll be dealing lots of damage at great range with good tracking.

I'm confused about something Stoicfaux. Don't the Raven and CNR both have a 5% bonus to RoF?

ETA: Nevermind....I see they are taking it away the CNR RoF bonus in Odyssey.

Still, I'm a little confused at how 8 launchers vs 6 launchers equates to only a roughly 6% DPS advantage for the CNR, RoF advantage or not.

the cnr gets an extra sentry drone. the raven will only have 50 bandwidth after the patch (plus you would fly it that way anyways as you want some light drones to kill npc frigs, CNR has extra drone bay too)

I figured it out. 5% ROF bonus per level for Raven vs. CNR. At level 5 Battleships, the difference in damage is minimal (5%).

What a complete gimp to CNR. Sell yours while you can.

No difference in missile damage per se. CNR has 8 launchers. Raven has 6 / (1 - .25) = 8 effective launchers, assuming Caldari BS V.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.
