Loan questions re: collatoral

I'm a manufacturer looking for a 2 billion isk loan to aid expansion in readiness for this winter's shennigans. This would be my first loan so I have a few questions.

1. I would be able to offer 1b collatoral (freighter and t2 ships) - what are the most used mechanics for setting this up to ensure I get my stuff back if I complete as agreed?

2. What would be a fair percentage return that would mean my request had a good chance of attracting a partner? I was wanting the isk for 3 months and planning to pay 10% monthly with the 3rd payment being the original loan plus the final 10%. Would this get any takers?

You can use a 3rd party (Chribba, Grendell) to hold your stuff until the loan is completed, or you can contract the stuff directly to the loaner. 30% for 2b will surely attract interest - if it isn't too obviously a scam.

Wich will be the OP's problem.Blank sheet in posting and corporation history so this will be seen as an easy way to sell off 1B goods for 2B.


Start with posting with your main OP if you want to have a chance of filling this OR hand over 110% collateral to cover a 1B loan and drop interest rate to 5-8% and it will fill.

Thanks guys, see what you mean about scammers, I will post with my main when i request the loan and will go for the 110% collatoral option with a lower interest rate - kinda like a pawn shop I guess and scam proof to boot - cheers for the info!

Many thanks Ptraci - Michael is my main and will be taking out the loan - I have a obelisk and a T2 fitted/rigged hulk that is roughly a bil in assets for the collateral. I'll shoot you a mail in game to iron out the small print. Best regards!

Thanks to the people that mailed me with offers in respect to this - I'm happy to say that I have completed a 1 billion loan agreement over 3 months with Ptraci to help me expand my industrial base. Hope to be selling you all some more ships soon!
