Not getting all records from cache?

When I retrieve the XML or CSV document containing my characters wallet transactions, mail bodies, etc, I do not get a return of all records. Instead, I only get recent records. Is there a parameter I have to pass to retrieve my entire history?

You can walk back to get more but not all of them just the last month or so.

The API description says you can retrieve all past data...are you sure the max is about a month?

It does but many people think it does. http://wiki.eve-id.net/APIv2_Char_JournalEntries_XML#Journal_Walking Look at the part about walking to get data. That page is about WalletJournal but when it comes to walking they act the same.
