I thought as in the new expansion pack there will be a new hacking system there could also be a way to hack enemy ships, Disactivate there systems or turn there own guns on their allies,.
The hacking will be hard though , Really Hard, it could even take a few hacking ships to hack one
it will give Explorers with high hacking skills some use in combat.
This could open a window to make new ships made for haking

I personally like to disable an enemy's warp drive by blowing their ship to peices.

i prefer possibility to hack all enemy asessets

Naah, much rather have subsystem targeting introduced .. give all ships a low/medium/high subsystem controller that can be targeted by ships one size down, with interceptors being the only ones that can hit them on frigates/noobships.

Hitting the subsystem forces the ship to expend power/nanites/whatever to compensate thus increasing heat in the targeted rack.

You know what people generally don't like in a game. Any form of a stun-lock (like being permajammed). Such things essentially tell them 'you are removed from the game for X time, you cannot play'

You know what people like even less? To not only be stunlocked out of play, but actually have their avatars taken over and be puppeted by other players.

When you think of a new game mechanism, don't just think how cool it would be for the initiator, think of how could it would be for the victim. After all, you are not playing with ai, but with fellow players.
