The new battlecruisers are live (sans textures, which are being finalized). Also on the servers are the region nebulas, hybrid buff, new modules, ETC! Along with a host of new bugs. You guys should join to help balance all these changes :)

what is the niche they're supposed to fill exactly? seems like they're gonna just take the role that t1 bs currently have.

Asides from suicide ganking or fleet dps anyone have any other ideas for their use?

AB, Scram, Web, dual 1600mm Oracle is f***ing EPIC!

Eats my maxed skilled armour cane friend up and spits him out!

Also is the new EFT'esque fitting screen including dps as well as more accurate EHP. New font is a bit iffy tho.

Nah, T1 BS actually have some kind of a tank and if you want to compare a Talos to a Domi then I think you will struggle on a lot of levels. Tornado and Nano-pest are probably the most similar but even then I think there are differences.

The T(edit)ier 3 BC's are simple killers; they don't have the split weapons systems (maybe Naga does?) or utility slots that is typical of BC's. Their role is to turn up and punch out some heavy damage before they get shot down.

It's clear, along with the Great SC Nerf this winter, that CCP wants to see more ships getting melted. And I like that.
