If you'd like a suggestion; go to the buddy invites thread and just offer the entire PLEX as a reward. If you're feeling altruistic.

Is it against forum rules to post this in NCQA?

Sure it is.

Is this thread going to be petitioned?

Of course.

Please cite the rule and I will glady redact my thread.

Too good to be true = scam

At least the newbs who look here can see one that looks like you can get 10mil for nothing. If he wanted to just give away cash he could watch threads for true noobs and just send the money.

My favorite part of your post was all the proof you had that I'm scamming people by giving them 10 million ISK.

A few points.

  1. Not every newbie who reads the forums posts on the forums.
  2. How do you know whether or not I'm watching threads for true noobs and sending them money?
  3. Next time I log into the client, I am also going to be giving away ISK in starter systems to newbies.
  4. This thread is not going to be the only avenue I use to give away ISK to newbies, as it will prove inadequate to the task, but at least raises awareness that newbies should be approaching me to get some free ISK.
  5. I really want to get rid of this ISK by giving it to newbies.
  6. You are actually hurting newbies by trying to scare them away by calling this a scam.
  7. You have yet to point out what I'm gaining from this scam, and what the newbies are losing.

Someone is trying to get rid of RMT ISK...not a best way to get that, CCP doesn't like RMT and those linked to it.

On a related note, you can't see usernames or emails from the character selection screen.

I'm definitely not sending anyone any ISK.

Thank you for the names of your alts, specially Ray Starky, twice.

Oh and that character sale got locked for not following rules...

Actually if you check my employment history and check the date that I posted the thread, I was indeed in an NPC corporation. So the thread was locked in error.

At either rate, any "point" you're trying to make is irrelevant and you're giving the newbies of EVE a good crash course on forum trolls.

It was against the rules.

Your buy-out value was offered...means you should have accepted that and sell the character.

Any orders higher then that are not allowed..buy out is immediate sell price

You said: BO = 6bil

Anybody that offered 6 bil (and it was posted pretty quickly) should have given the character and the auction should be closed.

EDIT:

So newblets...this just shows how much this person follows official CCP sanctioned rules. He disregarded 2 rules in the character bazaar. Do you want to give out your character(s) names to such a guy???

You're just mad that the thread didn't get locked, J'Pol. I won't even bother to spend the time pointing out why every single thing you posted is wrong.

Anyway.

I'm still giving away ISK to newbies.

One special newbie who guesses the correct number between 1 and 20 will get 100 million ISK. Same rules and procedures for the 10 mil giveaway.

That's a load of ****.

A very important rule in Bazaar is that no transaction is final until the transfer is begun, and all sales are at sellers discretion.

So J'Pol is either lying...... or doesn't know CCP rules.

How ironic.

I'm glad you linked the rules J'Pol.

Now kindly point out where it says I have to accept any offer and can't change my listing price.

Thx.

The idea behind a buyout in ANY action is that if someone bids you that value, you have to accept. That's the whole idea behind a buy out.

If you think it's too low, you should have put the buy out higher.

I tested this and received 10mil so it's totally legit.

You can totally trust my word on that it's not like I want to have these types of threads become legal here or anything so I can scam the hell outta new players who don't know scamming is legal in this game....yet.Blink

After a discussion from the Community Team we have determined that giveaways are inappropriate for the New Citizens Q&A Forums for a variety of reasons. Hence this is being moved to In-Game Events.
