Hotkey to launch drones?

Perhaps?

You could assign a group (for ships that carry multiple flights) that would be the "primary" group

and the hotkey would launch that group only.

YES PLEASE!!!

To add to this --->

PLEASE ADD a hotkey for "Mine Repeatedly" for drones!!! How does this option not exist?

Also, the ability to click on a planet and hit a hotkey for "View in Planet Mode" would be lovely!

Or drag and drop a drone group on a module hotkey to launch and recall. This would also allow to have 5 groups with one drone to quickly recall and launch again drones that get under attack or to handle mixed drone flights.

This is most def the solution, now we just need enough people to get CCP to notice...

Agree with the messages in this thread: Let us hotkey drone launch, and let us drag drones individually or by group onto a module slot.

In fact, let us change hotkey through an option in the right click menu. Any hotkey option.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

YUUUUUUSSSS!!!! BUMP. So we can assign the key to anything we wish. Would make drones so much easier, and prolly wouldn't for get to launch them most of the time Ugh I will still fire and forget, cuz they're just glorified missiles.

Would be awsome.

What if they added a Quick launch folder in the drone window, so the drones inside that folder can be launched quickly using that hotkey assigned. Ofc a max of 5 drones in that folder.

And the ability to quickly add folders into the "Quick launch" folder, incase you need another set of drones, with a "simple" rightclick, then "Add to Quick launch"

Rather this than putting the feature into the fittings window. in tight situations i wouldnt be bothered to go into the fittings window, to put a new Group of drones in.

Any of these ideas please.

I'd love a hot key.

If I can't have a hot key, at least make it a button click instead of a right-click menu item.

If it has to be a button, make it a button on each of your drone groups so you can launch a specific group with the press of a button instead of a right-click menu item.

Why doesn't the drone window have an optional section containing a button panel with all of the drone commands in it? Or a context-sensitive bunch depending on what drones you have launched?
