The Citadel – Soon after news of Caldari Navy Executive Officer Mininela Erinen's testimony about Admiral Yanala's death was released, several memorial services for the war hero suddenly turned into impromptu protests as people called for answers from State Executor Tibus Heth. Several of the protests subsequently turned violent, when demonstrators clashed with Provist forces. So far, no deaths have been reported, though hundreds have been reported as injured.

Into the morning, Caldari citizens have continued to react with disbelief and anger to the news. Said one protestor who works for Lai Dai, “Tibus Heth must give an accounting of himself. He can't sit silent in his iron tower and expect us to accept this. Admiral Yanala was a hero and he cannot simply expect us to forget about this.”

Others have reacted with slightly greater reservation. Said a middle manager from Hyasyoda, “We've only heard one side of the story. Obviously if true it's horrible. But anyone who is rioting is just participating in a mob mentality. There's no proof about what she's said. It's her word against the State Executor's. We must wait for the CEP to finish their investigation.”

I guess it is hard for citizens in space to find provists sometimes. And thus I would like to ask you to not harass any State workers and security. There are other ways to release your anger. I believe that only those, who actually did something should accept consequences. Thus I am leaving my quarters(*) door unlocked for anyone(**), who wants to say or do something to provist supporters.

(*) Those, who can't find my quarters by themselves, I recommend looking for "Diana Kim Quarters" in their neocom.
(**) My offer is valid only for citizens of the State. All other trespassers will be kicked out with extreme prejudice. Members of hostile (gallente and minmatar) militias or navies will be shot.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

In memory of Tibus Heth, Caldari State Executor YC110-115, Hero and Patriot.

"Leaving your door open" in the secure capsuleer area of a station where baseliners can't enter anyway is an entirely empty guesture - nothing will happen to you. You actually want to do something to help the people of the State?

Say you're sorry.

There isn't a shred of apology in this post. There's only an invitation to enact revenge fantasies.

New Caldari – Speaking for the first time since Caldari Navy Executive Officer Mininela Erinen testified that he forced Admiral Visera Yanala to undergo the Tea Maker Ceremony, a harried Tibus Heth attempted to apologize for and defend his actions. Before he could finish, the assembled crowd broke into a riot and forced Heth off stage.

well this is a rather worrying turn of events.
I hope that stability will return to the State, one way or the other.

This statement is not representative of official tRN policy and merely constitutes the drunken ramblings of a junior diplo.

I do this for many reasons. I do it because I believe it is right. I do it because I will profit by it. These all consolidate into one reason: I do it because I can.

In other news, Diana Kin was brutally murdered before her time by a mob of angered anti- provist after announcing her location and leaving her doors wide open.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

The people have a right to be angry; but, the investigation has not yet concluded. Let us first condemn Heth before he is punished, if that is to be our course. We are civilized; we are Caldari. This is not our way. Those of you responding in favor of the riots are more akin to my brethren in the Goonswarm Federation than you are to the ideals of the State.

So you're attempting to appeal to the better natures of people by drawing a comparison to a group of people who actively and eagerly encourage humanity's worst excesses - by whom you are also currently employed?

No, please don't mistake me; I'm not in any way saying that I disagree with you. In fact, I agree with you in the utmost - there's no reason for good, honest people to get hurt on Heth's account, because far too many have been already.

I'm just commenting that there's a little bit of a conflict of interest here.

I, too, eagerly await the Chief Executive Panel's decision on the matter: not the Federation Senate's; not the Caldari Providence Directive's; not Tibus Heth's; not Diana Kim's; nor that of any other person or group. This matter is being properly investigated by the legitimate authority of the Caldari State, and any well meaning interference on the part of either Provist or anti-Provist loyalists would merely muddy the matter more than it already is.

I urge all citizens, capsuleer or otherwise, to be patient and observe due process.

There is no such conflict.

I would be happy to discuss any particulars of my arrangements in some other venue so as not to derail this thread.

Should, yes. Can? Not always. But that remains to be seen.

I wonder what immunities before the law the Executor has. By all accounts, he has admitted to murder -- couched in tradition, surely, but driven by rage and haste. While Heth may espouse Caldari virtue, he lacks circumspection, patience, and level-headedness.

I await the CEP's judgment in this matter.
