You are playing a competitive game.

You just got outcompeted.

Someone set a trap, you walked into it, they won, and you lost. No different to losing a bishop to a masterful trap set by a chess player you underestimate, or being shot in Counterstrike because your opponents set up in a sniper nest you weren't familiar with or weren't expecting them to be in.

Now get out there and recover from the loss. I suggest you join a corporation, fit out a PVP ship, and go and ransom one of your new corpmates for profit (intra-corp violence in highsec is legal). Pick the right corp, and you'll have your 800m ISK back in a few good AWOXes.

Half the fun in the game is saying I built this, Or did this, when I started to play mmorpg, back with ever crack, (everquest) I really enjoyed it and other games DOC, AO, ect.. Eve was an od ball, I like it a lot and played for 3 years, most games I would not even stick with that long.

I have not lost faith in EvE at all and just wanted to learn from this, thank you for you kindness. I would hope with the influx of newer players this might help them as well. I have something in mind to get even, how does that saying go less Q Q and more Pew Pew.

Yes it was Satire. It is only a game, but I hope I made a few people think, about what they where truly saying, half of the forums blame the victim for being the (idiot) and the other half offer great advice and tips as long as the OP is considerate too. A lot of things have changed since we last played my friend.

I will not be bumping my shame up anymore let it die.

Yes, those people share in the blame, if you cannot adequately defend yourself or keep something from happening then you are a fool. Everyone makes a choice wether to keep themselves from foul play or not, just because you dont like the outcome of your gamble does not mean you have no blame.

Its the same thing, that I dont go out walking the streets of Detroit after dark, and if I did, I would accept part of the blame for what happened, because I know the possible consequences of my actions and decided to do it anyway. You cant do something foolish and then go "but but but..." Just like if you go out of the house without a concealed weapon, you cant cry if the police dont show up in time. You made the choice not to defend yourself, or take the appropriate actions that would have ensured your safety, criminals and other miscreants usually go after the weakest targets, so make yourself a hard target and they ill go after the next guy down the line instead of you.
