Should plex timers and LP rewards be reduced?

Tbh i personally think that plexs SHOULD be defended. If you do not defend your plex the timer resets and you need to start again. PLEX'ing should be about PVP not waiting for a timer to despawn. Ships not considered a cloak ship should not be able to enter with a cloak on and the same goes for stabs. Similar to old MWD restriction.

This would promote people to fleet together and work in groups to defend there plex and system they are trying to deplex. It would also mean a lot more group cohesion would need to go into trying to capture or defend a system as anyone with a better ship setup could drive someone out of a plex. LP would be more difficult to earn and LP farmers would have to start actually pvping to earn lp. LP gains could be increased by fighting inside a plex and defending it.

Thats my opinion anyway and we all have one.

+1 on this. Disabling cloaks and stabs within plexes will adjust the risk vs. reward ratio for farmers significantly without affecting any other game mechanism. It would not stop the farming but make farmers at least less annoying and frustrating for those that are in for PvP rather then for ISK.

And for plex runners, it actually becomes more of a "game" as they are required to hop around systems more often, dodge gate camps + PVPers, plan routes etc.

You can catch plex runners in transit between plexes? How?

You mean gatecamps with insta-lock ships? You want to encourage those?
